Blue badge holders are welcome to park on the museum forecourt. Ample public car parking is available in Bakewell town centre. We recommend a two hour parking ticket to give you plenty of time to relax and enjoy the museum.
The museum has uneven floors on varying levels which may prove difficult to less abled visitors. Wheelchair ramps are available on the ground floor.
Access to view the oldest part of the building, from the external courtyard, is available by stairlift.
